Appraisals & Umpire Services
Consult 1 is here to assist in providing dispute resolution services as party appraiser or umpire in proceedings that arise from disputes in the valuation of insured losses. Our consultants work diligently to be as fair and accurate as possible in handling these types of projects. Our consultants:
- Will typically visit the site and complete a visual inspection of the damage.
- Take photographs.
- Complete estimates when needed.
- Review any previous estimates and/or reports provided by client.
- Review any subcontractor or supplier quotes provided by client.
- Obtain subcontractor or supplier quotes when needed.
- Meet with appraiser(s)/ parties involved and listen to all sides and then be as fair and accurate as possible in working towards a resolution.
Litigation Support
Consult 1 provides invaluable expertise when you need qualified construction experience in the face of litigation. In addition to direct litigation assistance, our consultants:
- Provide detailed restoration estimates and reports based on our field inspections.
- Provide additional opinions on contents packing, moving, and storage needs and costs,
- Provide additional opinion on temporary housing needs and time frames for construction.
